{action step} Breathe

I don’t know about you but when I look at the calendar and see it’s already November 8, I feel the panic attack coming.  We’re getting really close to that crazy time of year when life seems to erupt into utter chaos and we are supposed to be four places at once and I finally end up saying, “We’re not going anywhere!” Of course, with a teenager and a husband in ministry and as a work-at-home mom, the truth is, our calendar sort of looks like an ink explosion all the time.

I’m guessing I’m not the only one. Sometimes I get so busy trying to manage the schedule, the menu, the laundry, and my desperate need for sleep that I forget to just breathe. That’s my challenge to you, the action step for this week:  breathe.

Take a few deep breaths in and let them out slowly.  As you breathe in, take that time to focus on who God is and while you breathe out, thank Him. Go ahead, take a deep breath!
