Busy but Good

Y’all … I cannot believe I have not written anything for over two weeks. It isn’t because I haven’t wanted to or had things to say {seriously, I always have something to say! LOL}. Life has just been busy. And you know, I’m not apologizing for that anymore, right? I’m good … the busy is good.  I’m doing the stuff that matters, the most important stuff. But I miss being here in this space. So I promise to be back here with regular content soon {more about that below}.

busy but good

Even though I’m all kinds of running around like a chicken with her head cut off, there are a few things I wanted to share with you.

First, I’m trying new things. This may not seem like a big deal to some of you but I tend to only do things I already know I’ll be good at … so trying something totally new feels pretty scary. But I’m doing them anyway. {For example, I’m doing custom canvases like this one to sell locally.}

Second, I’m really living in the land of “good enough is enough” right now. For example, about half my house is clean right now. The other half looks like a storm blew through it. But you know what? Half is better than none … and the parts that are clean are the parts we use the most. {Seriously, why is it so hard to keep a room we never really use picked up? I think it’s because we all just drop our stuff in there as we pass through. Anyone else have that same issue??}

Third, I’ve read two books written by women I adore and I want to share all about them … but that means I need to have more time to sit down and write a coherent post {rather than one with bullet points} about each one of them. So, for now, can I just tell you to check out Reclaiming Home* by Krista Gilbert and Girl Meets Change* by Kristen Strong?

Fourth, I’m working on my 31 days series and I truly hope you all will be encouraged and challenged by it. Here’s a hint: counter cultural. I’ll be sharing more next Thursday so be sure to check back!

And finally, thanks for being here! Seriously. I’m grateful for every visit you make to this little spot online.

Thankful for your friendship

xo,
Teri Lynne
