Book review: Why Her? 6 Truths We Need to Hear When Measuring Up Leaves Us Falling Behind by Nicki Koziarz

So one of my favorite parts of this writing/blogging thing is the opportunity to review books.  It’s a great gig — publishers send you free books and you get to tell the world what you think.    A few months ago, I requested a book I’d been wanting to read, Why Her? 6 Truths We Need […]

Posted on November 7, 2017November 7, 2017by Teri Lynne Underwood

I’m a personality test junkie. Seriously. All of them. I mean, ALL of them. Like even the “Which Disney Princess Are You?” kind on Buzz Feed. {Book Review} Reading People by Anne Bogel Since I have such a powerful affection for all things personality, I couldn’t help but get Anne Bogel’s new book, Reading People: […]

{Book Review} Listen Love Repeat by Karen Ehman

Posted on December 5, 2016December 5, 2016by Teri Lynne Underwood

Have you ever read a couple of lines in a book and had to stop because the words resonated so deeply within you that you needed time to stop and allow them to sink in and soak in and expand. Four years ago, I read a book by Karen Ehman titled Let. It. Go. It […]

Posted on September 1, 2016September 7, 2016by Teri Lynne Underwood
Fresh Out of Amazing by Stacey Thacker || and two great Bible studies to help you remember how amazing God is!

I remember the first time I read Stacey’s confession … her words painted a picture of exactly how I felt! Lord, I feel like I need to be amazing. The trouble is, I’m fresh out of amazing. Honestly, it rings as true today as it did almost five years ago.  Monday, I sent an email […]

HCSB Illustrator's Notetaking BIble review

So, I have a new journaling Bible. Yes, this makes three. Whatev. 🙂 I use my journaling Bibles in different ways and I have loved experimenting with techniques and tools. I love the way I can slow down and meditate on a passage or idea or even a word as I create on the pages […]

Love these Bible Study Resources!

The Daily Grace Co. is one of my favorite places for Bible study resources. Gospel-driven studies, beautiful journals, and more.
This is hard. And none of us was really prepared for how hard it would be. Here's what I'm finding, even when I don't FEEL hope, I can KNOW hope. Because hope isn't a feeling, hope is a Person. If you're struggling, lean into Jesus.
Why is giving ourselves space in between Bible studies valuable? Two reasons not to jump from study to study.

Not sure what or how to pray? I wrote this book for all of us who want to pray with confidence and power.

Praying for Girls: Asking God for the Things They Need Most (Bethany House, 2017) by Teri Lynne Underwood contains 200 Bible-based prayers as well as suggested activities and conversation starters, Praying for Girls is a must-have tool in every mom’s arsenal.
