What I’m Reading {March 2018}

Posted on March 8, 2018March 8, 2018by Teri Lynne Underwood
What I'm Reading {March 2018} — find out what is currently in Teri Lynne's book stack and check out her suggestions for books for moms (Mother's Day is coming!). Books by authors including Shelly Wildman, Denise J. Hughes, Kayla Aimee, Jen Schmidt, and more!

I can’t believe it’s already March and I’m just now sharing my first What I’m Reading post of the year. Crazy. But that probably also tells you how little I’ve actually had time to read. (insert very sad face) Nonetheless, I couldn’t let 2018 get any further along without sharing with you some of the […]

{Book Review} LIKED: Whose approval are you living for? by Kari Kampakis

Posted on November 15, 2016November 15, 2016by Teri Lynne Underwood

Last week, Casiday looked at me and said, “I know you don’t like when people talk about how many likes they have on social media, but my picture of Mamaw has over 100. Isn’t that sweet?” I smiled at her because, for that one moment, I knew she’d been listening to all I’ve been telling […]

Posted on January 26, 2016January 24, 2017by Teri Lynne Underwood
#MustRead for all moms ... Kristen Welch's newest books, "Raising Grateful Kids in an Entitled World"

It’s no big secret I’m a Kristen Welch groupie. If you follow either of my Facebook pages you know I share basically everything she writes with the hashtag #MustRead.  I’ve been reading her blog for ever ….because she is equal parts hilarious and honest. And those are two of the most important qualities in a […]

My Big List of Great Books for Moms

Posted on January 19, 2016June 20, 2017by Teri Lynne Underwood
HUGE list of great books for moms {not just parenting books!}

It’s no big secret I adore books and reading.  I’m a failure at keeping an up-to-date book list here on the blog but I seem to be doing better at posts that share what I’ve been reading each month.  I’ve been working on a few projects connected to Prayers for Girls lately and because of […]

10 Great Books for Moms

Posted on June 17, 2013November 18, 2015by Teri Lynne Underwood

I’ve been writing a lot {okay, mostly}about parenting lately.  There are several reasons for that but the main one is, right now, it’s just hard.  I think I might have mentioned before how much more challenging parenting a teenager is than I’d ever dreamed.  And I’m not alone.  I get phone calls and texts and […]

Love these Bible Study Resources!

The Daily Grace Co. is one of my favorite places for Bible study resources. Gospel-driven studies, beautiful journals, and more.
This is hard. And none of us was really prepared for how hard it would be. Here's what I'm finding, even when I don't FEEL hope, I can KNOW hope. Because hope isn't a feeling, hope is a Person. If you're struggling, lean into Jesus.
Why is giving ourselves space in between Bible studies valuable? Two reasons not to jump from study to study.

Not sure what or how to pray? I wrote this book for all of us who want to pray with confidence and power.

Praying for Girls: Asking God for the Things They Need Most (Bethany House, 2017) by Teri Lynne Underwood contains 200 Bible-based prayers as well as suggested activities and conversation starters, Praying for Girls is a must-have tool in every mom’s arsenal.
