Posted on September 18, 2014September 18, 2014by Teri Lynne Underwood
3 ways to slow down on the busy days || TeriLynneUnderwood.com

Lately I’ve sort of felt like I’ve been meeting myself coming and going.  We’re in the beginning weeks of the busiest time of year at the Underwood Abode. From the time school starts until the National Championship football game, it’s full speed ahead. You’d think after years of it being this way, I wouldn’t find […]

{action step} Breathe

Posted on November 8, 2013November 8, 2013by Teri Lynne Underwood

I don’t know about you but when I look at the calendar and see it’s already November 8, I feel the panic attack coming.  We’re getting really close to that crazy time of year when life seems to erupt into utter chaos and we are supposed to be four places at once and I finally […]

Prioritize Rest

Posted on October 10, 2013October 10, 2013by Teri Lynne Underwood

Today I took a 3-1/2 hour nap. I didn’t really have time for that. I had three blog posts to write for different sites. There are literally no clean towels in my house.  The dishes from supper last night are still in the sink. But I was exhausted. I need about eight hours of sleep […]

Is your to do list overwhelming? Have you ever wished for just one more hour in the day?  Or one more day in the week? Do you wish you could create more time? Yeah, me too.  In fact, if we’re honest, I’d imagine we all do.  We cannot make our days last 25 hours, but […]

Capturing Moments of Joy

Posted on September 12, 2012March 21, 2014by Teri Lynne Underwood

Monday was a great day!  Admittedly, I am a fan of Mondays.  I like the routine and fresh start they offer me each week.   I know, I’m a little weird.  Nonetheless, Monday was a great day.  It’s cooled off a little bit here in North Alabama.  Autumnal temperatures in the mornings and evenings are […]

Love these Bible Study Resources!

The Daily Grace Co. is one of my favorite places for Bible study resources. Gospel-driven studies, beautiful journals, and more.
This is hard. And none of us was really prepared for how hard it would be. Here's what I'm finding, even when I don't FEEL hope, I can KNOW hope. Because hope isn't a feeling, hope is a Person. If you're struggling, lean into Jesus.
Why is giving ourselves space in between Bible studies valuable? Two reasons not to jump from study to study.

Not sure what or how to pray? I wrote this book for all of us who want to pray with confidence and power.

Praying for Girls: Asking God for the Things They Need Most (Bethany House, 2017) by Teri Lynne Underwood contains 200 Bible-based prayers as well as suggested activities and conversation starters, Praying for Girls is a must-have tool in every mom’s arsenal.
