How Great Thou Art

Posted on November 29, 2012April 7, 2017by Teri Lynne Underwood

Have Yourself a {Mary} Little Christmas – Part 2

Posted on December 8, 2011March 20, 2014by Teri Lynne Underwood

“But one thing is necessary.  Mary has chosen the good portion, which will not be taken away from her.”  Luke 10:42 Mary of Bethany … the contemplative, earnest, passionate woman who sat at the feet of Christ and then annointed those same feet with her perfume and tears. Certainly we can learn from her.   To […]

Worship with me?

Posted on December 19, 2010August 13, 2015by Teri Lynne Underwood

This morning during our worship services at church, we’ll be singing “Glory in the Highest” by Chris Tomlin.  Perhaps you have heard it, perhaps not.  A powerful declaration of the majesty of our God and the honor due our Savior, this has become one of my favorite songs. From my reading of Luke today, words […]

Construction Zone: Worshiper’s Heart

Posted on October 24, 2010March 21, 2014by Teri Lynne Underwood

August 24, 2009 {I didn’t have any notes about reading Proverbs this morning … because some days I don’t.  But here is what I wrote …} S and C are cuddled up together in his chair, sleeping.  It’s 6:11 am and the only sounds in the house are the soft snores of my husband and […]

Love these Bible Study Resources!

The Daily Grace Co. is one of my favorite places for Bible study resources. Gospel-driven studies, beautiful journals, and more.
This is hard. And none of us was really prepared for how hard it would be. Here's what I'm finding, even when I don't FEEL hope, I can KNOW hope. Because hope isn't a feeling, hope is a Person. If you're struggling, lean into Jesus.
Why is giving ourselves space in between Bible studies valuable? Two reasons not to jump from study to study.

Not sure what or how to pray? I wrote this book for all of us who want to pray with confidence and power.

Praying for Girls: Asking God for the Things They Need Most (Bethany House, 2017) by Teri Lynne Underwood contains 200 Bible-based prayers as well as suggested activities and conversation starters, Praying for Girls is a must-have tool in every mom’s arsenal.
