You did it!

You spent 28 days investing in your marriage. Oh I know, you may not have done everything I suggested {a little secret, neither did I!} … but I bet you were more intentional about how you dealt with your spouse and how you treasured your marriage. And that was my goal.

It’s just too easy to get in a rut and fail to notice the wonderful blessing our husbands are in our lives. We get caught up in the kids and our jobs and ministry and the house and all the other stuff of life … and somehow our husbands move down a notch or ten in our priorities.

It happens. And it is going to happen. So let’s make a deal as we wrap this month up, okay?  Let’s agree not to beat ourselves up when we realize we’ve gotten our priorities out of whack {again} but instead to pull out one of these ideas and get back on track.

In order to make that a little bit easier, I made a little printable you can keep in your Bible or journal or taped on your mirror or wherever. Just click on the link below the image to download your copy!

  1. Teri, you just made me feel so much better about the times I am not able to do all the things I have intentions to do. I have been dealing with so much back pain this week, it has gotten in the way of doing things around the house I had intentions of doing. I do consider those things a way of showing my husband I love him. The thing is we can keep on looking at your wonderful suggestions, add those special things our husbands like, and find ways to remind ourselves this is great for our marriages. Moreover, we can do what we can — for me, it is often using the baby step approach– because of chronic illness. I am so blessed. I think I must have the sweetest, most loving husband in the world.
