Do you ever get in a rut in your marriage? I mean, let’s face it … between managing the laundry, driving kids to and fro, and trying to plan a menu, sometimes our marriages can end up pretty boring.

So, what if you tried something new? If you’re like Scott and me, that might just mean finding a new television show we can watch on Netflix during those rare moments we are home together. But maybe you’ve always wanted to try tennis or learn to cook Indian food … perhaps there is a place you’ve been wanting to visit.

Try Something New

It’s easy to settle into what is easy and comfortable in our marriages. But sometimes the best thing we can do is something different, something new.

I’ve been making a list of local attractions I’ve never been to for us to visit. And since I know how much my guy loves music, I’m also looking around for some local artists we can go hear this spring. There are countless ways you can implement this idea … but I really encourage you to do it. You’ll make memories and you’ll probably laugh … and in the end, you’ll find yourself even more committed to spending your life with this man God has given you.

When was the the last time you and your husband tried something new together?

Cheering you on,
TL
