31 Verses to Pray for Your Marriage {Isaiah 43:1}

But now thus says the Lord,
who created you, O Jacob,
He who formed you, O Israel:
“Fear not, for I have redeemed you;
I have called you by name, you are Mine.”
Isaiah 43:1

Oh that we could grasp this truth! He has called each of us by name … and we are HIS. Even greater than the sweetness of belonging to each other is belonging to the God of all.

But when we know this, when the depth of His love for us is embedded into our hearts, it should change us.  Jesus said,

By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another. {John 13:35}

As we grow in our love for God, it shapes our love for others.

Lord, thank You for knowing us and loving us. As we grow in our understanding of Your love, teach us to truly know and love others. May we be compassionate toward those around us and give generously to those in need.  In Jesus’ name. Amen.
