Y’all, I can’t lie, I love the little ones at Christmas. My favorite Christmas picture of Casiday is when she was almost two. She’s wearing the cutest Christmas sweater and a Santa hat. She had those chubby toddler hands and is holding a big red ornament. And, she has the biggest wad of bubble gum in her mouth. I put it out every year because I love it so much.
It was so fun researching and curating this list for all of us who will buy gifts for little girls this Christmas. The items on this list are geared toward girls ages 4 to 8 and chosen specifically for the way I believe they will help our little girls learn to focus on their faith.

Spiritual Growth & Habits

Daily Truth for Kids covers a variety of issues, emotions, and struggles that kids face with a short encouragement and a list of Scripture for each topic.
I can’t get over the prayer journal and Daily He Leads Me journal sets. So cute and the perfect way to help your daughter grow some spiritual habits at a young age. (And the ones for boys are also adorable!)
Bibles
What about Bibles? One of my favorite gifts and I have two great recommendations for you.
First up, The Jesus Storybook Bible. I think every home should have this resource. Sally Lloyd-Jones does a FANTASTIC job of helping us see how Jesus is a part of every bit of Scripture. It’s a great read-aloud book and is a perfect beginning to helping your daughter learn to understand how to read the Bible.
The CSB Kids Bible is a perfect first study Bible for your girl. Here are a few of the features that make it great for early readers:

Books & Magazines
Let’s start with a series of books that I LOVE! The Bible Belles books are my top gift for little girls. This series of five books focuses on women in the Bible and a specific character trait or habit we can learn from each. Written by my friend Erin Weidemann, these books have the most amazing storytelling and gorgeous illustrations. And be sure to check out the new HEARD devotional as well!
I wish I’d know about this magazine when Casiday was little because she would DEFINITELY have received a subscription every year! Sparkle magazine from GEMS Girls Club shares the love of Jesus with 1st-3rd grade girls. Sparkle provides young girls with the building blocks they need to learn more about God, themselves, and the world He’s created. Through fun craft and activity-based lessons we encourage girls to create tangible reminders of God’s love that they can share with others. Curious young readers will find plenty to entertain them in Sparkle, while older readers will find more meaning behind every activity or story.
30 Stories for Girls with God-Sized Dreams contains stories of women like Mother Teresa, Harriet Tubman, Florence Nightengale, and Wilma Rudolph. Your girl will see what God did through these women and be encouraged to believe all the things He can do through them.
When I Pray for You by Matthew Paul Turner is a beautiful book that will help your little girl remember what and why you pray for her. The illustrations are stunning and the message is profoundly important.
Just for Fun
I love little ways to remind our girls that they are loved by God. So here are a couple of easy ideas for doing just that!
How cute is this drawstring bag? I love it and it would be perfect for carrying all those things our little girls like to carry.
And, of course, pencils! I know it seems silly but our girls use these little tools every day in school — so why not give them pencils with reminders about who God is and what He says about them.
