Posted on October 25, 2016October 24, 2016by Teri Lynne Underwood

Welcome to Day 25 of 31 Ways to Embrace Lopsided Living! Today’s post is all about something I always MEAN to do … but often fail to accomplish. It’s one of those things that makes its way to my “to do” list every week and then gets bumped to the next week’s list. I know […]

People Are the Priority!

Posted on October 24, 2016October 24, 2016by Teri Lynne Underwood

Welcome to Day 24 of 31 Ways to Embrace Lopsided Living! Several years ago I ran across this quote from author Anna Quindlen, “The great motherhood friendships are the ones in which two women can admit how difficult mothering is quietly to each other, over cups of tea at a sticky table with spilled apple juice […]

Whatever You Do

Posted on October 23, 2016October 24, 2016by Teri Lynne Underwood

Welcome to Day 23 of 31 Ways to Embrace Lopsided Living! On Sundays we are meditating on a verse that encourages us in our Lopsided Living pursuit.  Today’s verse is one I am leaning into a lot lately. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men. Colossians 3:23 WHATEVER YOU DO […]

Small Changes Count

Posted on October 21, 2016October 22, 2016by Teri Lynne Underwood

Welcome to Day 21 of 31 Ways to Embrace Lopsided Living! Well, it’s Friday. Y’all, I’m tired. For real. I could give you all the reasons but I don’t think they are much different from yours. So, I’ll spare you the details and let’s just both agree some weeks are just long and tiring, deal? […]

It’s Okay to Do Something instead of Everything

Posted on October 20, 2016October 22, 2016by Teri Lynne Underwood

Welcome to Day 20 of 31 Ways to Embrace Lopsided Living! I need to make a confession. I didn’t use my Jawbone yesterday. Why? Because it’s been so long since I have worn it I couldn’t even find the charger until this morning. It’s all charged up and I’ll be monitoring my steps today! Just […]

Dig into Scripture with me?

Scripture Dig — a community for women who want to DIG into God's Word. Develop the habit. Invest in others. Grow in confidence.

Love these Bible Study Resources!

The Daily Grace Co. is one of my favorite places for Bible study resources. Gospel-driven studies, beautiful journals, and more.
This is hard. And none of us was really prepared for how hard it would be. Here's what I'm finding, even when I don't FEEL hope, I can KNOW hope. Because hope isn't a feeling, hope is a Person. If you're struggling, lean into Jesus.
Why is giving ourselves space in between Bible studies valuable? Two reasons not to jump from study to study.

Not sure what or how to pray? I wrote this book for all of us who want to pray with confidence and power.

Praying for Girls: Asking God for the Things They Need Most (Bethany House, 2017) by Teri Lynne Underwood contains 200 Bible-based prayers as well as suggested activities and conversation starters, Praying for Girls is a must-have tool in every mom’s arsenal.
