Though the fig tree should not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines, the product of the olive fail and the fields yield no food, the flock be cut off from the fold and there be no herd in the stalls,

Ever wonder where the path is leading you in life?
I confess I do. So often I wish I could see the future and know how it all ends. Oh, I know the story ultimately ends with eternity in Christ. But I wonder sometimes about the days ahead before that.
What will the next leg of our journey together hold? Will the dreams Scott and I have barely been brave enough to whisper to each other come true? Will our love sustain us as Mr. Jack and Mrs. Louise’s did?
But I make this daily commitment to rejoice in the Lord, to trust His leadership, and to chase the joy found only in Him.

Lord, we don’t know where the path will lead. We don’t know where life will take us. We don’t know what happens next. And sometimes that is scary. But we choose to trust in You and remind ourselves of the faithfulness You have always given to us. Today and every day, we will find our joy in You! In Jesus’ name. Amen.
