Honestly, this is hard to do. I have so many favorites resources. But I’m going to narrow it down to just a few suggestions in several categories.
Bibles:
- I love my New Living Translation Life Application Study Bible for devotional reading.
- I use the English Standard Version for most of my writing and study. {Which you can get free for Kindle or Kindle apps!}
- My favorite study Bible is the Hebrew-Greek Key Word Study Bible.
Devotions:
- Jesus Calling
- Streams in the Desert
Study Tools {offline and on}:
- Women’s Evangelical Commentary
- Halley’s Bible Dictionary
- www.biblestudytools.com
- Do Not Depart {Scripture Dig and Do Not Depart will be merging in February.}
Books on Spiritual Disciplines:
- Celebration of Discipline by Richard Foster
- The Spirit of the Disciplines by Dallas Willard
- Spiritual Disciplines for the Christian Life by Donald S. Whitney
- Intimate Faith: A Woman’s Guide to the Spiritual Disciplines by Jan Winebrenner
I’ve also compiled lists of other favorites such as:

Thanks! I will look into the ones that are new to me. I wonder why Google Connect is no longer working? I am able to just manually add people to my blogger reading account by their url, but I’ll check to make sure I’m still getting them from you now that you mentioned it.

Google no longer wants to “play” with WordPress. Not sure exactly why but look at any subscriptions you have through GFC for WP blogs … they may not be showing up in your Reader.
