Some days I make my to do list and when I'm done I just want to go back to bed. I tend to put off those little things like making doctor appointments, scheduling photo sessions, and picking up prescriptions until the very last minute. In fact, today is one of those days where I'm going to have to force myself to do a bunch of those types of things. I hate all of that. {If anyone wants to volunteer to manage this sort of thing for me, I'll pay in hugs and banana pudding. I kid. sorta.} Then ... [Read More]
For Your Weekend
So, this weekend is supposed to be rainy and that means all I will want to do is wrap up in a blanket on the couch and watch a Blue Bloods marathon on Netflix with Scott. I've spent most of this week working on a book proposal but I did go to a class at the gym with my friend Marguerite on Tuesday morning. The class involved hand weights and one of those huge balance ball things. It also requires a proficient knowledge of left and right and being able to do one thing with the right side of your ... Fashion Friday {accessories for teenage girls}
I've worn glasses since I was in the 6th grade. I have had every sort of dorky glasses known to man. Not once have I ever thought, "If I didn't need glasses, I'd still want to wear them." Not. Once. What I Learned in February
Time to share what we learned in February and link up with the lovely Emily of Chatting at the Sky. I don't always remember to keep track of the little things I've learned each month but I do always love reading everyone else's tidbits. This month, however, I did remember! Yay me! :) Eventually, you can miss so much school for snow that never comes that your child will WANT to go back to class. Truth. Related: when the snow finally comes to your little southern town, your Yankee friends ... [Read More]
