What happens to a girl who loves to read when her life has been full of end of school activities, writing projects, and no down time? She gets cranky, that’s what! Until she remembers it’s June … which means VACATION and time to read all those books stacked up on her nightstand {well, a […]

big list of things I'm loving ... books, products, blog posts, and more!

Y’all, it’s been a crazy few weeks for the Underwood family.  We’ve had parties and ball games and family visits and all three of us managed to get sick too. {Because, really, what’s a busy holiday season without everyone needing antibiotic and steriod shots. ha!} But here’s the thing, I know I won’t have much […]

December 1, 2015. Wow. This morning as I was having my quiet time, I realized this year has truly flown by. It feels like just yesterday I was sharing the 31 Verses to Pray for Your Marriage. We’ve got a busy week ahead, as I’m sure many of you can relate. Yesterday, in the email […]

Busy but Good

busy but good

Y’all … I cannot believe I have not written anything for over two weeks. It isn’t because I haven’t wanted to or had things to say {seriously, I always have something to say! LOL}. Life has just been busy. And you know, I’m not apologizing for that anymore, right? I’m good … the busy is […]

Simply Tuesday by Emily P. Freeman review

This time a year ago I thought I was about to sign my first contract for a traditionally published book.  My speaking calendar was growing as was my blog. I had several coaching clients and I was excited about all the ways God was moving in my life professionally. Today, I’ve had one proposal rejected […]

For Your Weekend

Posted on March 13, 2015July 5, 2017by Teri Lynne Underwood
For Your Weekend March 13

So, this weekend is supposed to be rainy and that means all I will want to do is wrap up in a blanket on the couch and watch a Blue Bloods marathon on Netflix with Scott. I’ve spent most of this week working on a book proposal but I did go to a class at […]

Love these Bible Study Resources!

The Daily Grace Co. is one of my favorite places for Bible study resources. Gospel-driven studies, beautiful journals, and more.
This is hard. And none of us was really prepared for how hard it would be. Here's what I'm finding, even when I don't FEEL hope, I can KNOW hope. Because hope isn't a feeling, hope is a Person. If you're struggling, lean into Jesus.
Why is giving ourselves space in between Bible studies valuable? Two reasons not to jump from study to study.

Not sure what or how to pray? I wrote this book for all of us who want to pray with confidence and power.

Praying for Girls: Asking God for the Things They Need Most (Bethany House, 2017) by Teri Lynne Underwood contains 200 Bible-based prayers as well as suggested activities and conversation starters, Praying for Girls is a must-have tool in every mom’s arsenal.
