3 reasons to try amazon prime || TeriLynneUnderwood.com

I admit it, I’m a huge Amazon fan. I might have owned almost every generation of Kindle made. I have an addiction to ebooks and they certainly meet that need in my life. I love being able to search for {and buy} anything from my favorite K Cups to boots for me and my girl.

But here’s the deal … Amazon Prime makes Amazon even better!

Here are the three biggest reasons I love Amazon Prime.

  1. FREE two-day shipping. Seriously. This alone makes it worth getting.  And, in the interest of full disclosure, the last order I placed through Prime did not arrive in two days. When I contacted Amazon, they were {as always!} incredibly helpful and added an extra month to my Prime Membership due to the delay.
  2. FREE books. It’s no secret how much I love to read. My Paperwhite is definitely one of the best investments we’ve made. As a Prime member, I receive one free PRE-RELEASE ebook every month. AND there are countless ebooks I can borrow for free as well.
  3. FREE Instant Video. We are movie and TV buffs at the Underwood abode.  We have Netflix, Vudu, and Hulu Plus.  But I love having Amazon Instant Video as well.  There are thousands of shows and movies available including Downton Abbey season 3 {in case you need to catch up before season 4 begins in January!}Amy Andrews recently said they’ve gotten rid of Netflix because with their Prime membership they didn’t need it anymore.

Truly, Amazon Prime is definitely worth the $99 a year.  If you are looking for a way to save money and make your life easier at the same time, Amazon Prime is worth considering.  And you get a FREE one month trial of Prime … so you can try it out before you commit.  If you’re like me, and a last minute shopper, that two day FREE shipping might come in handy over the next thirty days! 🙂

What is one of your favorite time and money saving tips?
