Dearest Dreamer,
What dream is God stirring up in your soul? What dream is it that you are tip-toeing around, trying to hush the roar of passion and desire that pounds in your soul? It’s scary, isn’t it? Overwhelming, too.
Oh sweet friend, I know! I mean, really I KNOW.
That stirring inside you? That lump-in-your-throat, butterflies-in-your-stomach, is this real feeling? That “What if I can’t?” but “What if I don’t?” thought, the one always rumbling beneath the busy-ness of “to do” lists and car pools and diaper changes and car line? That “If I close my eyes I can see it” so I open them quickly because it scares me sensation?
Yes, all of that.
I. Know. It.
It’s the dream, the deep etching of God on your heart. His dream, His plan, His call.
The dream you never spoke aloud. The dream you never put into actual words.
Because of fear.
Because of doubt.
Because of uncertainty.
Because of insecurity.
Because of time and commitments and a life that doesn’t allow time for dreams.
Yes, dear friend, that one.
The dream of writing a book or opening a restaurant, of adopting a child or starting a ministry, of painting or photography. That dream.
Will you give wings to your dream?
Or even just a cocoon so the wings can come later? Wrap yourself up in the beauty of God’s presence and allow Him to cover you with His assurance.
What is your dream? What is the longing has God imprinted on your heart?
Today, I invite you to join me in chasing it, in trusting God to lead you.
Because you, dearest dreamer, are just the sort of person God does incredible things for and through. And I can’t wait to see what He’s up to in your life!
