Are You Content?

Posted on July 14, 2016July 14, 2016by Teri Lynne Underwood

You say, “If I had a little more, I should be very satisfied.” But you make a mistake. If you are not content with what you have, you would not be satisfied if it were doubled. Charles Spurgeon Are you content? Store your treasures in heaven, where they will never become moth-eaten or rusty and […]

Posted on June 18, 2012April 21, 2016by Teri Lynne Underwood

Tamar.  Rahab.  Ruth.  Bathsheba.  Mary. The women listed in the genealogy of Christ.   We’ve read about three of them so far in our Bible in 90 Days journey, two in the past week.   I always find myself drawn in to the stories of Rahab and Ruth, captivated by their longing for a God […]

Discovering God’s Agenda

Posted on April 11, 2012April 21, 2016by Teri Lynne Underwood

I must confess that my own life is ever torn by my desire to be a writer of significance and my desire to be nothing more than a soul who wants to discover God’s agenda for my life – one minute at a time.   Calvin Miller How I long to write words that matter […]

Construction Zone: Purpose

Posted on October 19, 2010March 21, 2014by Teri Lynne Underwood

October 19, 2005 You can make many plans but the Lord’s purpose will prevail.  Proverbs 19:21 Lord, keep this truth always before me. I get so busy planning that I fail to seek You and what You purpose for my life.  Help me, Lord, to plan within Your purpose. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ So many of the dreams […]

Construction Zone: Seeking

Posted on October 3, 2010March 21, 2014by Teri Lynne Underwood

April 3, 2009 Seek his will in all you do, and he will direct your paths. Proverbs 3:6 NLT HIS will … in ALL I do.  Not just when I’m wondering or wandering.  Always, all things.  It’s so easy to do what “feels right” and not seek Him when things are going smoothly.  How often […]

Love these Bible Study Resources!

The Daily Grace Co. is one of my favorite places for Bible study resources. Gospel-driven studies, beautiful journals, and more.
This is hard. And none of us was really prepared for how hard it would be. Here's what I'm finding, even when I don't FEEL hope, I can KNOW hope. Because hope isn't a feeling, hope is a Person. If you're struggling, lean into Jesus.
Why is giving ourselves space in between Bible studies valuable? Two reasons not to jump from study to study.

Not sure what or how to pray? I wrote this book for all of us who want to pray with confidence and power.

Praying for Girls: Asking God for the Things They Need Most (Bethany House, 2017) by Teri Lynne Underwood contains 200 Bible-based prayers as well as suggested activities and conversation starters, Praying for Girls is a must-have tool in every mom’s arsenal.
