There Are No Orphans of God: Orphan Sunday 2013

Posted on November 3, 2013January 24, 2017by Teri Lynne Underwood

One of my favorite songs of the past few years is “Orphans of God.” There is such beauty in these words … There are no strangers There are no outcasts There are orphans of God. So many fallen But hallelujah There are no orphans of God. Today is Orphan Sunday.  While we know there are […]

Freedom’s Requirement

Posted on July 4, 2013March 30, 2015by Teri Lynne Underwood

Today, like countless other families across the United States, we’ll be gathering with people we love to eat and swim and watch fireworks.  We’ll don our red, white, and blue and take a moment to recall those who bravely stood for freedom’s cause and those who today wage the battle in deserts and cities around […]

How Much Would You Give to Catch a Pedophile?

Posted on May 26, 2013April 26, 2016by Teri Lynne Underwood

I know, a post on Sunday doesn’t normally have this sort of title. But what better day of the week, the day we celebrate the Lord breaking the chains of slavery for all of us, what better day of the week is there for me to share with you a way YOU can be a […]

We ALL Have a Part in Freedom’s Story

Posted on May 15, 2013March 30, 2015by Teri Lynne Underwood

This child? This girl all to quickly turning to woman?  I look at her and she takes my breath away.  She is funny.  She is bright.  She is the very best kind of friend.  She loves big and lives big.  She’s passionate and creative.  She dances and she cheers.  And every day I get to […]

Don’t Miss This {May 3, 2013}

Posted on May 3, 2013April 21, 2016by Teri Lynne Underwood

I love the weekly round-up posts my friends like Sandra and Kris and Shelly do. I always find the best stuff I missed when I read them.  So, I thought I’d share some of my favorites each week (ish). From The Exodus Road, an amazing organization I am thankful to blog for. Ever wonder what […]

We Must Act: 5 Ways to Fight Slavery

Posted on April 11, 2013April 26, 2016by Teri Lynne Underwood

Slavery. This is a topic that matters to me.  It’s the reason I share about FreeSet and National Human Trafficking Awareness Day.  And it’s the reason I am a blogger with The Exodus Road. 27 million people enslaved. More than at any other time in human history. The vast majority of my life I have lived […]

Love these Bible Study Resources!

The Daily Grace Co. is one of my favorite places for Bible study resources. Gospel-driven studies, beautiful journals, and more.
This is hard. And none of us was really prepared for how hard it would be. Here's what I'm finding, even when I don't FEEL hope, I can KNOW hope. Because hope isn't a feeling, hope is a Person. If you're struggling, lean into Jesus.
Why is giving ourselves space in between Bible studies valuable? Two reasons not to jump from study to study.

Not sure what or how to pray? I wrote this book for all of us who want to pray with confidence and power.

Praying for Girls: Asking God for the Things They Need Most (Bethany House, 2017) by Teri Lynne Underwood contains 200 Bible-based prayers as well as suggested activities and conversation starters, Praying for Girls is a must-have tool in every mom’s arsenal.
